I can’t remember if I wrote a post about it, too, or not. My oldest and middle daughters were bullied mercilessly. The parents in both instances did not take responsibility for their kids’ behavior, and in fact, became aggressive with us. Can you imagine?
The one girl toilet papered our house for 7 days straight with the last day being the worst with eggs being thrown at our stucco, dog food on the driveway and on my car and pineapple on my car.
Eggs do not come off of stucco so I had to look at the huge stains and remember the bully for years until we repainted. I was going to paint immediately and take the parents to court to get them to pay for the painting but, in the end, I decided against it.
When several witnesses came forward at school after seeing a bullying incident against my daughter, the counselor brought in both girls and had them meet face-to-face to air out the problems. The bully promised to stop, bullied my daughter one more time, and then the counselor and principal suspended her for 3 days. The parents absolutely went bonkers.
I told the counselor about the dog food, pineapple, eggs, and toilet paper, and she said I should have called the police. I should have!
