I've recently been introduced to alternating toe taps and love them. Who loves their core exercises?! The common response to core exercises is groaning or heavy sighing. It's something to get over with but, for me, toe taps are doable.

I like your explanation and your video. Specifically, I like the angle you used for recording. So often in exercise videos, I cannot tell what my proper form should be and end up doing the exercise incorrectly. After viewing your movements, I know I can mimic the move.
