“Lines of frowning clowns walk by my thoughts” spoke to me because so often I feel like a frowning clown myself. On good days, I’m all mischief and merriment (despite my somewhat advanced age), but on bad days, I play “Tears of a Clown” on repeat.
When I’m having a bad day, the clowns in my head are frowning at me and want me to come outside and play again — stop being a moody adult!
